The DAXIN Enclosed Hot Aisle Containment System is a project-configured data center airflow solution that captures rack exhaust air and directs it toward the return-air path, helping separate hot exhaust from conditioned supply air. The modular system can be engineered as a conventional ceiling-return arrangement or as an independently supported prefabricated structure.
What Is an Enclosed Hot Aisle Containment System?
A hot aisle containment system encloses the space behind opposing server cabinet rows. Instead of allowing exhaust air to mix with room supply air, the contained hot air is routed toward the cooling system return. This supports more predictable airflow management in high-density data center environments.

Materials and Containment Components
Typical reference configurations use 6063-T5 anodized aluminum framing and double-wall polycarbonate infill panels. The referenced panel assembly has a stated heat-transfer coefficient below 4.5 W/(m²·K); DAXIN engineering must confirm the final material grade, fire performance and thermal requirement for each order.
Access Door Options
Door selection depends on the clear aisle width and site circulation plan. Narrower aisles can use a two-panel sliding arrangement, while wider layouts can use a four-panel configuration with moving and fixed panels. Closers, magnetic holding, access control and other interfaces are available subject to the approved design.


Lighting, Monitoring and Safety Interfaces
LED lighting can be integrated into the containment support structure. Camera brackets, pressure sensing, smoke detection and temperature sensing provisions can also be included. Fire-alarm linkage, emergency release behavior and required illuminance must be coordinated with the data center designer and local authority.
